What does it mean to find your F.L.O.W.?

In the LOLA community, we teach and share practices that help women refresh, renew, realign and recharge all the areas of their lives.

We use the intersection of ancient wisdom with modern psychology and the science of well -being, stress management and self-care. SO COOL.

We developed the F.L.O.W framework to give you a sense of how we do this and what our women learn from our offerings.

Feel the feels. LOLA women learn how to feel and identify the full range of emotions that humans can experience on the spectrum.

Love your Lifestyle. LOLA women integrate and implement lifestyle shifts and changes that bring gratitude, joy, acceptance and energy to everyday life.

Own Your Story. LOLA women honor and acknowledge ancestral dis-ease, contagious emotions and our own stories as a path to healing. We use the basics of neuroscience and neuroplasticity to rewire our brains and personalities.

Wholehearted. LOLA women are commited to living lives of meaning and purpose. We value all things proactive and are devoted to the path of compassion and wholeness.

As Dr. Brene Brown says, “ “Wholehearted living is about engaging in our lives from a place of worthiness. It means cultivating the courage, compassion, and connection to wake up in the morning and think, No matter what gets done and how much is left undone, I am enough.”

We learn and integrate these powerful Psycho/Spiritual/ Health Systems:

  1. Enneagram
  2. Ayurveda
  3. Core Desired Feelings/ 4 Desires
  4. Self-Coaching Model
  5. The Work by Byron Katie

What We Stand For:

1. We stand for intentional, authentic communities and conversations, as we know ( and the evidence validates) this is where growth, connection and healing occurs.

2. We practice and integrate mind, body soul practices in our lives as a commitment to the earth, to our own energy and relationships and in service of others.

3. We value listening, conversations and sharing stories as a path towards healing racial, economic, and systematic oppressions. We believe wellness is attainable and accessible to all.

4. We believe in asking good questions rather than always looking for the right answer.

5. We believe in the wisdom, harmony and abundance of nature and solitude. Simplicity, intuition, alignment and attunement with the seasons and moons bring insights and peace.

6. We intentionally use masculine and feminine energies/qualities to help us create alignment in our life.

Self-Assessment for LOLA women:

1. Basic needs, sleep, food, elimination, movement. Are my basic needs being fulfilled? How can I nurture and mother myself today?

2. Personal responsibility. Is there something that needs to be addressed in my life? Is there something that needs attention, a change or perhaps a conversation? A friend? Some therapy?A change of job or relationship or location? What does my heart ask for?

3. Social webs/ connections/ engagement/ authentic groups. Do I have a place to be my TRUE self to ask good questions ? A place to share about the GOOD stuff and the tough challenges in my life? Do I have a community to support me? Do I feel connected?
